Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission Eligibility
Age Limit
Students want to apply for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test must not born before 1st May 2013 and after 31st July 2015 (both dates are inclusive). There is no category wise exception.
Attempt Limit
Students already attempted for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) are not eligible to apply again.
District
Students from the district where Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is available are only eligible to apply. Candidates from outside districts are not allowed. A list of district name is available below for your reference to know about eligible districts.
Current Study
Students studying in Class-V for the whole of the academic session 2024-25, in a Government/Non-Government or other recognized school or a ‘B’ certificate competency course of the National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district where JNVs are available are eligible for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission Form 2024-25.
Previous Admission
Students not yet promoted into class 5 standard 31st July 2024 is not eligible to apply for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission Form 2024-25.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test Date
After receiving the online applications from the students, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya’s authority to conduct the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) on 18th January 2025 (Sunday). Before few days of examination date, candidates will be able to download their JNVST admit cards from the application portal by entering the registration number and date of birth of the student.
